*** All students have a cooling off period of 10 days after their confirmed enrolment – applications for a cancellation/refund must be made in writing to the Australian Institute of Early Childhood Studies within 10 working days of the Students confirmed enrolment – students will receive a full refund.
Applications made after 10 days will be at the discretion of Management and will incur a fifteen percent (15%) administration fee.
Fee for Service Training
This policy is to ensure that a full refund of enrolment fees will be made if a course is cancelled by the Australian Institute of Early Childhood Studies for any reason.
Refund Applications made after 10 days will be at the discretion of Management and will incur a fifteen percent (15%) administration fee.
Refunds will be considered on a pro-rata basis for students who fall ill or are injured to the extent that they can no longer undertake the course providing a supporting Medical Certificate is supplied to the Australian Institute of Early Childhood Studies. However, should participants wish to finalise incomplete units of competency in a future course the original fee can be used as a credit towards that course within three months of initial payment.
In all other cases, refunds are at the discretion of the Directors of the Australian Institute of Early Childhood Studies and may be negotiated on an individual case-by-case basis.
Fees Paid in Advance:
Students who choose to pay fees up-front and leave before finalising their course, should apply for refund before processes of assessment
begin, in which case fees may be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
However, should participants wish to finalise incomplete units of competency in a future course the original fee can be used as a credit
towards that course within three months of initial payment.
Career Start and Career Boost Program:
Upon notification of cancellation of a Learner’s enrolment into a Career Start or Career Boost Program AIECS provides refunds for student
co-contribution fees charged for units of competency that have not commenced at the time of cancellation of enrolment to the payee.
AIECS will provide 100% refunds to Learners for Co-Contribution fees charged for units of competency where training delivery has not commenced at the time of cancellation of enrolment.
AIECS will not provide a refund to Learners for Co-Contribution fees charged for units of competency where training delivery has commenced at the time of the cancellation of enrolment.
AIECS will provide refunds to Students and/or Employers for tuition and/or student support services fees in accordance with contractual requirements.
AIECS will offer a full refund to the intended Trainee/Apprentice/Employer should they decide to cancel their Traineeship/Apprenticeship prior to being signed up by the Australian Institute of Early Childhood Studies representative.
Any modules purchased by an existing student of AIECS which have not been submitted and assessed prior to being signed as an Apprentice or Trainee will be used as credit towards the tuition fees involved in becoming a Trainee or Apprentice. Modules which have been purchased and previously assessed will not be used as credit towards the student’s tuition fee.
Should a Trainee or Apprentice cancel their training contract – no refunds will be given for any unit that they have received training in. To obtain competency in outstanding modules re-enrolment into the college will be required at such a time.
