International Students

AIECS is a provider under the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

AIECS will be offering Fulltime classes to International students commencing February 2007. A second intake will be made mid-year for students who wish to commence in July 2007. The AIECS offers both the Certificate III In and Diploma Of Children's Services courses, with the Certificate level delivered in the first year and allowing students the opportunity to continue their studies for an additional year in which the Diploma will be delivered.

AIECS CRICOS fulltime classes offers International students the ability to study in a fantastic learning environment at a convenient location. The AIECS campus is based at Shailer Park which is situated off the highway between the Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast, offering students the convenience of close proximity to both major locations and attractions. The campus has fantastic public transport services, located close to a major Logan shopping centre with bus services, interchange and just a short distance to a local train station in Loganlea.

AIECS provides a structured class unlike any other and with our state of the art equipment, learning resources and structured class environment we offer:

Regular class excursions to various high profile Brisbane and Gold Coast exhibits and attractions to enable our International students  

   to become familiar with Australian culture, diversity and practices.

.  Practicum placement in an AIECS affiliated Childcare service.

.  Smaller classrooms. Many students find it difficult to keep up with large University lecutres and tutorials, at the AIECS we provide   

   smaller classes to ensure all our students receive a high level of attention and service.

.  Support. Our Trainer/Assessors are contactable six days per week on mobile and email from 8am-8pm for any after hours student 

   queries and assistance with their studies.

.  Library facilities which are available for the use of International students which includes access to reference materials, textbooks,

   journals, government regulations and legislation, industry news and events.

.  Competitive course fees

.  International Student Liaison Officers who are available to assist students in many aspects of their course includng blue card enquiries, student visas, insurance, accommodation and enrolment enquiries. The student liaison officers are also contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days per week to assist International students with any problems which may arise during their stay in Australia.

.  Mentor program to enable students to be paired with existing students who can offer information, support and advice in the

   transitioning into studying with the AIECS.

Certified copy of a student's health insurance cover whilst in Australia
